What We Believe
At Bethesda we look to the Bible as God’s infallible Word as we seek to understand what it means to live the Christian life.  Our greatest desire is to know our Lord and glorify Him as we help others come to know Him better; therefore, you can be sure that...

We believe in one God, creator of all things, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Out of His great love for us, God became man in the person of Jesus Christ who was miraculously born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and died on the Cross to pay the penalty for all human sin.

However death could not conquer Christ, and on the third day, He rose bodily from the grave and has ascended into heaven where He now sits at the right hand of God the Father almighty.

Through the Holy Spirit, the Lord invites all people to enter into a personal relationship with Him by placing their faith and trust in the work of forgiveness that He accomplished on the Cross.

When we accept the forgiveness of sin that Jesus offers and invite Him to be the Lord and leader of our lives, by His grace and mercy we are adopted into God’s family, never to be forsaken.

Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are then able to live the Christian life in this world, even as we look forward to our eternal reward and the promised day of the Lord’s return in glory!
